This means that you may download the entire text of an Act or Bill, and search, view, and print the document in the same format as it is published. Explanatory Memoranda are also available for most Bills. Useful links and contact details are also included.

Statutory Instruments, or secondary legislation, regulations, etc., are published by the appropriate Government Department or agency or body. The Irish Statute Book, including statutory instruments, is published by the Office of the Attorney General.

The Irish Statute Book (ISB) on the web includes the full-text of Acts of the Oireachtas and Statutory Instruments as well as the Chronological Index to the Statutes (1922-2001) in a searchable format.
