Converting to euro
Examples explain how to convert to the euro and the problem of rounding off. This activity includes two handouts: one to help the pupils convert to euro using mental arithmetic; the other to encourage them to use a calculator.
Consumer Survey
The pupils are given a consumer survey form to complete outside school. They must ask ten consumers five short questions. This could be done under supervision at the local shopping centre or as an activity to complete at home using family and friends.
Tuck Shop Activity
Get your class to convert the tuck shop prices into euro. A series of handouts will assist in this task.
Euro Wordmaze
