This web site is constantly being improved and expanded. Our aim is to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of the Irish Parliament. A redesigned Web site will be launched early in 2004.

The proposed weekly schedule "This Week in the Houses of the Oireachtas" is usually published on this web site the previous Friday, and amended later, if required.

The Office is also investigating the feasibility of carrying a live Webcast of the Dáil, Seanad and Committees, and has already carried out some experimental Webcasts.  Some webcasting is carried at present - see This Week in the Houses of the Oireachtas.

The Historic Parliamentary Debates are now available on the Internet. See Parliamentary Debates 1919 - 2003.

Website Legislative Information is now available, and contains the full text of most Bills Initiated in both Houses and Acts of the Oireachtas since 1997.

The bilingual Acts of the Oireachtas 1922 - 2002 was launched in December 2003.

The Irish Statute Book 1922 - 1998 (which includes Acts of the Oireachtas and Statutory Instruments) is available on the web site of the Office of the Attorney General .
