To capture electronically the Official Translations of the Acts of the Oireachtas and create an XML database, which can be added to on a dynamic basis, together with the corresponding enacting language versions, published by the Office of the Attorney General.

To develop the database as a translation aid, in order to facilitate Rannóg an Aistriúcháin, the translation section of the Houses of the Oireachtas, in its work particularly through the identification and accessing of precedents.

To enable publication of the database on the World Wide Web and on CD-ROM and/or DVD, including all the required functionalities outlined in the request for tenders.
