Access the NRA’s Archaeology Database

Ireland’s national roads building programme has resulted in excavations of hundreds of sites spanning the Mesolithic to early modern periods. Many previously unrecorded sites have been discovered, settlement patterns have been suggested and periods with previously scant information have been illuminated. The National Roads Authority has developed an archaeological database to help quantify and examine this new archaeological information.
