About this site

This website is designed to assist in the implementation of the Irish Public Service Metadata Standard (IPSMS). It consists of guidelines for managers and those with the task of creating the metadata associated with online resources.

Using the Guide

The site consists of sixteen sections which can be accessed from the menu on the right. Specific usage instructions are available in section 7, Metadata Elements.
A Quick Guide is also available.
