General Election - Friday, 29 November 2024

Polling at the General Election will take place on Friday, 29 November 2024. Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm. Bring photographic identification, otherwise you may not be allowed to vote.

To vote in a general election, you must:

  • be over 18 years of age
  • an Irish or British citizen
  • resident in Ireland
  • be listed on the Register of Electors (Electoral Register)
