DEIS identification 2022: Appeals process for schools

From September 2022, the DEIS programme will be extended to additional schools who were identified using the refined DEIS identification model as having the highest levels of educational disadvantage. This circular sets out the appeals process for schools who, following the application of the refined DEIS identification model to their student enrolment data, were not identified for inclusion in the programme or identified for reclassification to DEIS urban band 1 and wish to have that outcome reviewed.
