The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine invites suitably qualified contractors to submit a tender package to construct up to 2 no. Reinforced concrete boatyard repair bays within the existing DAFM Boatyard located on the West Pier of Howth FHC . Tenders to be submitted in two lots.
Boatyard work bay upgrade in up to two lots of circa 520 sq.m each. Excavate, dispose off site at licenced facility of existing life expired asphalt surfacing, installation of drainage pipework, gullies and manholes ( depth not greater than 2m) shuttering and placing of RC concrete slab to line and levels with box out around existing rails, grout and concrete around rails. each lot to be constructed in two phases to allow DAFM replacement of life expired rails. First lot to be awarded for construction in summer 2021, second lot may be awarded subject to available funding and may be carried out in Q3 or 4 of 2021 or Q4 2021 into Q1 2022.
