Principal Officer, Wholesale Natural Gas and Hydrogen Policy

The Wholesale Natural Gas and Hydrogen Policy Section supports the work of the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment and government in the development of wholesale natural gas markets and hydrogen policies to ensure a reliable and robust security of energy supply and to reach a net-zero energy system by 2050. The section leads on wholesale natural gas and hydrogen markets design, natural gas security of supply, and development of a hydrogen policy, including management of the National Hydrogen Taskforce.
