How to apply for Formal Approval – Community Sport Facilities Fund

All applications for Formal Approval must be submitted by your organisation’s nominated primary contact via email. The Department’s designated officer contact details are listed below.

Please include your organisation’s name and county in the email’s subject line.

The body of the email should include the grant reference number (i.e. CAS-XXXXX-XXXXXX), if available, and your organisation’s Tax Registration Number (TRN).

Please note that your organisation must hold a valid Tax Clearance Certificate at all stages of the drawdown process. If your organisation does not currently hold a Tax Clearance Certificate, please contact Revenue to obtain it.

The following documents and information should be emailed to the Department.

Please note, all documentation must be submitted or the request will be rejected.

Quotations

Grantees must submit three comparable quotations, addressed to your organisation, for each element of the grant. Your preferred contractor/supplier(s) must be specified. If you wish to choose a contractor/supplier which is not the lowest price, you must supply the Department with good reasons for choosing the more expensive option.

Quotations must be dated within the last 12 months. The TRN must be provided to the Department for each preferred supplier of goods/services in excess of €10,000.
