Responsibility at Principal level for the Regional Enterprise Plans and Initiatives Unit. The Unit is responsible for the development and implementation of the Regional Enterprise Plans and other related regional development initiatives. The work of the Unit involves engagement with the various enterprise agencies in relation to funds that support the implementation of the Regional Enterprise Plans as well as developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relations within the regions. Also responsible for leading the Department’s management of the Shannon Estuary Taskforce in developing an economic plan for the area in line with the Programme for Government commitment.
