Review of the Enterprise Agencies Economic Appraisal Model

The Economic Appraisal Model is used in the grant decision-making process for projects supported by Enterprise Ireland and IDA (Ireland) as part of their system of appraisal for investment projects. The model represents an important potential tool in ensuring the best use of scarce economic resources. This review of the model is the first since 2003 with reviews to update the cyclical elements of the model being completed since, most recently in 2014.

The publication of the review of the Economic Appraisal Model outlines the changes of the parameter values that make up the model in 2018.
