The Regulations give further effect to Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 on online dispute resolution dispute for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No. 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC by amending SI No 500 of 2015 to clarify the position regarding offences under the Regulations and how they apply to traders and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entities.
