SI No 336 of 2016 European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) (Amendment) Regulations 2016

European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 was signed into law on 29 June 2016.

The Regulations amend regulation 10(7)(a) of the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (SI No 484 of 2013) which give effect to Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on Consumer Rights.

The purpose of the amendment is to ensure that regulation 10(7)(a) of the Regulations give full effect to Article 8(4) of the Directive.
