The purpose of this Order is to activate the repeal as provided for in section 4(2) of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (No. 10 of 2005) in as much as it relates to the following: (a) the remaining paragraphs of section 86 of the Factories Act (No. 10 of 1955), and (b) the remaining paragraph of section 24 of the Safety in Industry Act 1980 (No. 9 of 1980).
