The Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD, has re-appointed Dr Patrick Smyth as a member of St. James’s Hospital Board on the nomination of the Chairperson.

This appointment is for the period from 30th August 2019 to 29th August 2025.

Patrick Smyth

Patrick Smyth is a medical doctor by profession and holds a UCD Commerce degree and a post graduate Diploma in Health Economics. He has worked in both the public and private sector as a hospital doctor, a GP registrar and as a medical adviser in the pharmaceutical industry.
