Appointments to the Health & Social Care Professionals Council Board:

The Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD has appointed/reappointed the following persons as members to the Health & Social Care Professionals Council Board.

Chiara Healy

Chiara Healy is the speech and language therapist manager at Tipperary University Hospital. She has been practising as a speech and language therapist since 2009, with extensive experience across both community and acute hospital settings. Prior to transitioning into healthcare, she worked in the corporate insurance sector. Chiara holds a BA from University College Cork, an MSc in Speech & Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) from University of Limerick, and an MSc in Applied Psychology of Intellectual Disability from University of Portsmouth. She is a member of The Irish Association of Speech & Language Therapists and served on the National Risk Subgroup of the HSE Working Group for IDDSI from 2018 to 2019.
