Reappointment to the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council:

The Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, has re-appointed the following member to the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council with effect from 14 June 2025 until 13 June 2029.

Martin O’Reilly

Martin O’Reilly is a native of Dublin City and has been involved in Pre-hospital emergency care for 36 years. As serving as a member of Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB), Martin has worked as a Firefighter-EMT, Paramedic and Advanced Paramedic. He is currently the District Officer for Emergency Medical Services in DFB.

Over the years Martin have been involved in pre-hospital education and training with DFB and their educational partners the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), he was also a volunteer with the Irish Heart Foundation teaching on their community CPR programme.

Martin has been a member of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) for over twenty years and is a PHECC Facilitator.
