World Health Organisation - Global Oral Health meeting

This week the Chief Dental Officer, Dympna Kavanagh, is attending the first ever World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Oral Health meeting, hosted by Thailand in Bangkok.
The overall goal of this meeting is to reaffirm commitment by Member States through the landmark resolution on oral health in 2021 (WHA74.5) and to support countries in scaling up their national efforts to prevent and control noncommunicable diseases with a focus on oral diseases.
