Interested in being part of Public Service Transformation Week (PSTW) 2026? Why not organise an event to showcase your great work? It’s a great opportunity to share learnings and strengthen relationships with colleagues across the public service.
The Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation (DPER) invites all public services bodies (PSBs) to take part in PSTW 2026 and organise an event for inclusion in the national programme.
Event Dates: 9-13 November
Event Types: Talks, webinars, interactive workshops, hackathons, L&D sessions etc.
Event Focus: Digital and AI-enabled transformation, workforce capability and innovation, designing services around life events and citizen needs
Event Format: In-person, online, or hybrid
This year’s theme is Stronger Together: Delivering the Public Services of the Future to highlight how organisations are working together to deliver better outcomes for the public, communities and businesses. PSBs are encouraged to highlight activities that showcase the people, partnerships and shared capabilities that make transformation possible.
Events can be delivered in person, online or hybrid and can take the form of a talk/webinar, an interactive workshop, a hackathon/sprint, or a Learning and Development initiative. Events may be aimed at organisation staff, focused on a particular sector, or open to the wider public service community.
If you plan to host an event, please complete the event submission form with details of your event.
To ensure there is sufficient time to publish and promote the various events and allow time for people to register their interest in attending, the deadline for submission is Friday, 02 October 2026. Please note, events must be hosted by public service bodies.
Once we have received the form, the event will feature on the national calendar of events. People from across the public service can access the details of all the events taking place and register through the links provided.
Alternatively, if you are planning to host an event or want to explore ideas, the Department would love to hear from you. Please reach out to publicservicetransformation@per.gov.ie to arrange a short call.
We are excited to work with you to deliver an engaging programme of events and strongly encourage everyone to take part.
