About the Project
Coimisiún na Meán, as Ireland’s independent media regulator, is leading on the development and delivery of a new Shared Island media programme. This will include a new journalism scheme in 2026 to support increased cross-border reporting, in order to build a better understanding of daily life and key events both North and South. The programme also includes a new Shared Island Sound & Vision programme to support cross-border and all-island audio and film / tv production which has now launched.
