Health investment projects in the southwest include the development of primary care centres and the upgrading and replacement of community nursing units across the region.

There will be a new hospital and new dedicated ambulatory elective-only hospital facilities in the region.

Replacement and additional radiation oncology facilities will be provided at Cork University Hospital.
