The International Affairs Unit advises the Taoiseach on international policy and supports his international engagements as a Head of Government, providing strategic input to support economic growth, trade, investment and international peace and security, as well as protecting and strengthening Ireland's strategic bilateral and multilateral relationships, and our values, interests and reputation overseas.
