Following a Public Service Appointments (PAS) campaign, the Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD, has nominated Ms Gillian Harford as Chairperson designate of the Beaumont Hospital Board. Her appointment is from 23 December 2019 until 19 June 2020.
Gillian Harford
Gillian Harford is the former Head of HR Strategy & Planning with AIB. With a career spanning almost 40 years, she has been responsible for significant people change with particular focus on Culture, Career, Diversity and Agile Work. Gillian is currently the Country Executive for the 30% Club in Ireland, helping to build their future strategy, and also works directly with client organisations focusing on diversity and workplace change.
Gillian holds a BA, an MBA from Michael Smurfit Business School UCD, and the Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance, UCD. She is a member of the Institute of Directors, fellow of CIPD, and a fellow of the Institute of Bankers. Joining the Board of Beaumont Hospital in 2017, Gillian assumed the role of Chair in January 2020.
