In November 2020, the government established a High-Level Task Force on COVID-19 Vaccination.
This group has developed a national vaccination plan for the COVID-19 vaccine in Ireland.
The COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation Strategy
lists the groups of people who will be the first to access a COVID-19 vaccine in Ireland. A list of COVID-19 vaccination centres
has been confirmed by the HSE, with at least one in every county.
The COVID-19 vaccine will be available free of charge to everyone in Ireland. To find out more, go to your questions answered.
