About Us

The OPW is delighted to deliver services to the public through Irish and to offer opportunities to speak the Irish language at its heritage sites across the country. Some of these include Irish language tours, collaborations with other organisations to set up events through Irish and bilingual signage at heritage sites. Many of our sites have already installed ‘Binsí Comhrá’ signs to encourage visitors to use their cúpla focal and more of these will be installed at OPW sites in the coming months. Please contact gaeilge@opw.ie if you would like to book a guided group tour as Gaeilge at one of our heritage sites, find out information about an Irish language event at an OPW site or learn more about Irish language activities in the OPW.
