School Governance Section supports the effective governance, management and operation of schools.

What we do

we provide guidance, information and direction to schools and Education and Training Boards (ETBs) on governance and policy issues that impact on the day-to-day management of schools
we provide information to parents on school governance policies
we liaise and consult, as appropriate, with education partners on governance and policy issues that impact on the day-to-day management of schools and ETBs.
