Minister O'Donovan announces funding approval for flood protection works in Kinard, Lispole, Co Kerry

Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works, Mr. Patrick O’Donovan, T.D., has announced the approval of Kerry County Council’s application under the Office of Public Works’ Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection Scheme. Under the scheme, the Office of Public Works (OPW) has approved funding of €56,796 for the stabilisation of the existing slope by soil nailing and shotcreting the cliff face. In addition, the surface water drainage networks in the vicinity of the proposed works to be altered at Kinard, Lispole.
