Probation Related Statistics

The Probation Service produce a wide range of statistical data across all of our main business functions and has a dedicated Information and Statistics Unit. The main function of the Information and Statistics Unit is to inform business planning through

  • the generation of statistical reports,
  • provision of high quality management data,
  • the identification and introduction of reporting of data as required to facilitate statistical analysis,
  • the maintenance of high quality data sets,

The Service also produce statistics on a monthly basis covering offender caseload populations. This report includes information on the types of supervision, gender, age and regional breakdowns. The latest report is available by following the link below:
