Each academic year, a Member State assumes the Presidency of the European Schools (ES). Ireland officially became part of the Troika alongside Croatia and Italy from 1 August 2021 and has assumed the Presidency of the European Schools from Croatia in 2022-23.
For its Presidency, Ireland has identified four key priority areas to support the European Schools’ system:

This work will be progressed under the direction of the Board of Governors of the European Schools. The work will be overseen by the Board of Inspectors and other administrative structures within the ES system with the support of the Office of the Secretary General, Brussels and Ireland’s Presidency team.
