Sexual Violence and Domestic Violence Services assist individuals, children, and families who experience domestic violence and abuse. Tusla, the Child and Family Agency has identified domestic violence as an important service area to focus on during this public health emergency.
All local support services remain available for anyone experiencing or at risk of domestic, sexual or gender based violence.

Still Here is an awareness campaign directed at victims of domestic abuse. It reassures victims that they will receive the highest priority from civil and criminal justice systems at a time when people are being asked to stay at home for longer. Still Here includes a map of services by county as well as details of national helplines.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tusla has been taking measures to ensure services are responsive to the needs of victims of all domestic, sexual and gender-based violence. These measures include:
Tusla has provided an additional €2m in COVID-19 related funding to DSGBV organisations in 2020 to support this.
In 2021, a total of €30m in funding will be made available to DSGBV services. This includes a €2.7m increase in core funding to €28m, with an additional €2m of once-off contingency funding also being made available to help services cope with the ongoing effects of Covid-19.
