Supporting Parents and Families through Summer 2020
The Genesis Programme has published a new resource document which has 62 pages full of low cost/no cost Summer Activities as well as lots of other useful hints and tips, strategies and ideas, information and direction including over 200 live links to help parents and families as we emerge from lockdown.
Barnardos have put together a new online resource to support parents and their families in maintaining their wellbeing during this time. This resources page is regularly updated with new videos, mindfulness exercises and fun activities.
Losing a loved one can have a profound impact on children and young people. The Irish Childhood Bereavement Network in partnership with The Irish Hospice Foundation have developed some specific resources in their COVID-19 Care and Inform series to help parents support a grieving child or young person in these exceptional times.
