If case of emergency CALL 999 or 112 and ask for Coast Guard

If you see anybody in danger on sea or water in Ireland - call as soon as you can.

What to do if you are in danger on a boat

If your vessel is equipped with a radio - then use channel 16 and tell the operator your location.

What to do if you are stuggling in the water

Remain calm. Float in the water. Don't fight the current as you will waste valuable energy.
