The Sláintecare Implementation Advisory Council (SIAC) comprises 21 members and is a critical element in the implementation of Sláintecare, providing advice and support to the Sláintecare Programme Implementation Office. The SIAC combines patient/service user representatives, senior health service leaders, clinical leadership, and a number of independent change experts from outside the health service who bring expertise and an independent perspective. The SIAC was established in October 2018, and meets quarterly. For background information on the SIAC, see below.
