REMITTED APPLICATION FOR A FORESHORE LEASE - UPDATED ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
This application (Ref. FS006566) was originally submitted on 12 February 2016 and determined on 15 December 2017.
Following an Order made in proceedings [2019] IEHC 824 on 7 April 2020, the application has been remitted to the Minister solely for the purpose of considering the application pursuant to Article 6(3) of the Habitats Directive.

(by appointment only 09.00 to 16.00 hours Monday – Friday).

Provision has been made under the Health Act 1947 to allow people to travel beyond the 5km limit to attend such offices to engage in a planning public consultation process.

Making a Submission
Any person who wishes to make a submission in respect of the grant of the lease sought should do so in writing, giving reasons, within 30 days of publication of this Notice (quoting ref: FS 006566), to Foreshore Unit, Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Newtown Road, Wexford Y35 AP90 or foreshore@housing.gov.ie .
The closing date for submissions is close of business on Friday 11th December 2020.
Submissions received outside of the public consultation period cannot be considered.
The Department wishes to draw attention to its policy on defamatory material that may be contained in submissions it receives.
