While news of the considerable developments regarding a vaccine for COVID-19 is to be welcomed, it is clear that clear, consistent communications from trusted sources will be required to ensure the success of the COVID-19 Vaccine Programme.
Dr Ronan Glynn, Deputy Chief Medical Officer has convened the COVID-19 Vaccine Advocate Forum to offer information to organisations that have an integral role to play in this important part of our country’s response to COVID-19.
Dr Glynn, along with Dr Lorraine Nolan, Chief Executive of the HPRA, Deirdre Watters, Head of Communications in the Department of Health and Dr Siobhán O’Sullivan, Chief Bioethics Officer in the Department of Health, took part in the session which was opened by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly TD.
