We are responsible for policy underpinning the delivery of a range of critical services to all our citizens. So much of what we do impacts on the lives of citizens in Ireland. We recognise that the voice of the individual has an impact and we need to develop how we respond to that.
This is why it is important for us to engage effectively with all of our stakeholders, from all walks of life in Ireland. Understanding and managing our stakeholders' views, and their expectations, ensures that policies are developed with a full understanding of stakeholder needs, and a better public understanding of their scope to influence those policies.
To assist us with identifying our stakeholders and managing our engagement with them, we have developed Stakeholder Engagement Guidelines. These Guidelines aim to help us build our capacity to engage effectively with our stakeholders.
