From 31 January 2024, consignments of composite products exported to Great Britain (GB) must pre-notified to GB authorities by using IPAFFs. This pre-notification must be made by the GB based importer.
Consignments of composite products exported to Great Britain (GB) will not require an Export Health Certificate (EHC) nor will they be subject to documentary, ID or physical checks. The goods will be required to enter through Border Control Posts (BCPs). For goods from Ireland this will not commence before 31 October 2024.
The certification process to be followed depends on the composite product type. Please see the Dairy & Meat Products Certification Process for further details.
