Built Heritage Policy Section’s key areas of responsibility are to develop, promote and implement policies and legislation for the protection of architectural heritage and to promote best practice in modern architecture & urban design.

From time to time, funding becomes available to support not-for-profit organisations taking on projects which aim to enhance public understanding and awareness of our built heritage.
To submit a proposal for support of this type, please email a project outline of no more than three pages to builtheritage@housing.gov.ie
