The Head of the Shareholding and Financial Advisory Division has responsibility at Assistant Secretary level equivalent for managing the State’s investments in the banking sector.
The role also requires advising the Minister for Finance, Public Expenditure & Reform on their interests in the National Asset Managment Agency (NAMA) and the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) (in Special Liquidation) and on Credit Union policy.
