Children and Young People's Services Committees

From: Department of Children and Youth Affairs

Information on the roles and functions of Children and Young People's Services Committees (CYPSCs).

CYPSCs are the key structures identified by the government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland.

The overall purpose is to improve outcomes for children and young people, aged between 0 - 24 years, through local and national inter-agency working.

They provide a forum for joint planning to ensure that children, young people and their families receive improved and accessible services.
