Energy and Water Customer Rights and Advice

The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) aims to provide customers with information about their rights as an energy and/or water customer and help them understand the charges for electricity, natural gas and water. CRU acts in the interest of the consumers to ensure that:

  • The lights stay on
  • The gas continues to flow
  • The prices charged are fair and reasonable
  • The environment is protected
  • Energy is supplied safely
