7 Government Departments and over 50 state funded agencies, bodies and organisations will be represented at the National Ploughing Championships 2018, taking place in Screggan, Tullamore, Co.Offaly on September 18th - 20th. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer your queries and provide you with information on a wide variety of services and supports for your farming, training, environmental and other needs.
The Government of Ireland marquee (Block 3, Row 14, Stand No. 295) will host a series of events over the course of the three days. Government Ministers will discuss topics such as Brexit, Ireland’s agricultural sector, how to support sustainable rural communities and investment in rural Ireland. Staff from a range of state-supported organisations will discuss and answer your questions on a variety of topics such as supporting healthy communities, tourism and heritage, and rural transport. A full event schedule with timings will be released later this week.
