In 2020, the Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, Joe O’Brien TD, published the National Volunteering Strategy 2021-2025. The Strategy includes a commitment to establish a National Volunteering Implementation Group, chaired by the Department of Rural and Community Development with representation from relevant Government Departments, State Agencies and sectoral stakeholders. Interested individuals are now invited to submit their Expression of Interest Application via email (using the template below) to VSImplementation@drcd.gov.ie by close of business on Thursday, 25th February 2021. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
It is envisaged that the first meeting of the Implementation Group will take place virtually on the 10th of March 2021.
