If you are seeking employment or intending to volunteer with an organisation which conducts relevant work with children or vulnerable persons, you may be asked to make an application to be vetted.
This is a facility for you to apply for or track an eVetting application, which supports the National Vetting Bureau (Children & Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016.
It is mandatory for all persons with access to children and vulnerable adults to have been Garda vetted prior to commencing their position.
