Climate Action Roadmap

The Public Sector Climate Action Mandate 2022 derived from the Climate Action Plan 2021 (CAP21) requires that a Climate Action Roadmap is prepared to report on our progress towards achieving the GHG emission reduction and energy efficiency target’s set out in CAP21.

This Climate Action Roadmap outlines the work undertaken by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications to date and our plans to reduce carbon emissions from our buildings and transport operations by reducing energy usage and shifting our energy sources from fossil fuels towards renewable and carbon zero energy sources. It is a working document and will be reviewed and updated regularly.
