The following Prospecting Licence Areas are available for application under equal competition in the 1 February 2026 Prospecting Licence Competition.
The deadline for competition applications is 31 March 2026.
Information on the procedure and evaluation of applications is available in the
Rules Document - Mineral Exploration in Ireland – section 5.1.4.
Completed application forms should be submitted to gsro@dcee.gov.ie
