Principal Officer, Circular Economy - Strategic Policy

The Principal Officer, Circular Economy - Strategic Policy is responsible for the development of the current and future iterations of Ireland's circular economy and supporting policy coherence across government. They works closely with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in circular economy programme delivery and with Regional Waste Management Planning Offices in the design and implementation of National Waste Management Plan for a Circular Economy. They are responsible for promoting Buying Greener: Green Public Procurement Strategy and Action Plan 2024-2027, and developing the national communications platform CIRCULÉIRE.
