Sarah Callanan

Sarah Callanan has been assigned responsibility at Counsellor level for the Economic Unit within DFA. Responsibilities include supporting the Department and its overseas offices in all of its economic work, which contributes to the implementation of Government’s Trade and Investment Strategy. This involves providing support for Team Ireland overseas and the Local Market Team model (where Departments and State agencies work in collaboration overseas to promote and defend Irish interests and values), and working in close partnership with D/Enterprise, Trade and Employment, D/Finance, several other economic facing Government Departments and the State agencies, including IDA, Enterprise Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Bord Bia and Science Foundation Ireland.
